Mário Cagica, director of Bola na Rede and sports commentator, highlights that “only a draw with Benfica prevents a 100% positive balance” for FC Porto in the championship. There are already 13 victories in 14 rounds for Francesco Farioli’s team.
FC Porto beat Estrela da Amadora this Monday, by at Estádio do Dragão, and keeps the distance to the main rivals at the top of the Primeira Liga. With this result, the team led by Francesco Farioli secured the best start ever in the championship, with 13 wins and a draw in 14 rounds.
Mário Cagica, director of Bola na Rede and sports commentator, highlights that “FC Porto’s success rate is 95%” and “only the draw with Benfica prevents a 100% positive balance” for the ‘dragons’.
“It was a fair victory. The first half was very good. Futebol Clube do Porto practically doesn’t waver internally. It was an enlightening victory, in which the team reached the first goal naturally, after having scored a disallowed one”, says Mário Cagica.
However, the sports commentator states that FC Porto has demonstrated a “single weakness” in Portuguese League matches: “The way the team is shutting down too much after getting ahead on the scoreboard”.
