On Sunday (14), the former president underwent ultrasound exams and, according to his defense lawyer, “Exams identified two inguinal hernias, and doctors recommended that he undergo a surgical procedure, the only form of definitive treatment for the condition,” said the lawyer in a post on social media.
“Objective and proven evolution of the clinical picture, now supported by a recently performed imaging exam and a new conclusive medical report, which require immediate action”, says the defense.
