See Ramon Dino’s career in the professional league – 12/16/2025 – Muscle

Ramon Rocha Queiroz, known as Dino, won the Olympia title – an unprecedented feat for Brazil in men’s categories until then – for Classic Physique this season. However, the Acrian bodybuilder’s journey in the IFBB Pro League (International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness Professional League, which means Professional League of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) did not start yesterday.

Before reaching the top bodybuilding title, the athlete had already competed in ten professional tournaments and won three of them. Check out how he participated in each of these competitions.

Professional since 2018, Dino only made his debut in the main bodybuilding league in the world three years later. At the time, the athlete’s team’s objective was simple: to enter at least the top 2 of the competition to win a place in that year’s Olympia. After beating Madelman –currently in the 212 category– and starring in a clash against Fabian Mayr, who won the title at the time, the Brazilian finished runner-up and achieved his main objective.

After a turbulent preparation amid the Covid-19 pandemic and the birth of his first child with Vitória Viana, Ravi, the Acrian bodybuilder arrived in the United States the day before the competition. Even with the setbacks and far from his best possible conditioning, he caught the referees’ attention with his line and muscularity, which led to fifth place in the tournament.

Upon returning to Brazil with the status of being the country’s greatest representative in his category, Dino overcame Gabriel Zancanelli in a battle that is still remembered today as one of the greatest in the history of Brazilian bodybuilding. That day, Brazil began to understand that the phenomenon of social networks was a reality of sport.

With the exception of Chris Bumstead, who was the world champion at the time, all athletes who were part of the top 5 at Olympia 2021 participated in the tournament. In other words, based on the placements of the last confrontation that had taken place between the four, the Brazilian was in last place. However, he surpassed Breon Ansley and Urs Kalecinski – until then top 3 and 4 on the planet, respectively – to take second place, losing only to Terrence Ruffin. From that moment on, the international media started paying more attention to Dino and noticing that he was advancing positions.

In this championship, Dino placed himself, for the first time in his career, as Cbum’s greatest rival. The referees separated the two from the other participants, making it clear that both were steps above their opponents. The world title remained with the Canadian, but the result was still a victory for the Max Titanium athlete.

After standing out as the best bodybuilder in Classic Physique after the six-time champion, Dino went to the city of Columbus to make history. For the first time, a Brazilian man won this title in a professional category.

The title in the tournament that honors Arnold Schwarzenegger gave Dino the morale that the Brazilian needed. It was then that, in November 2023, Bumstead fought the fiercest battle of his reign. He won the competition again, but his rival was clearly getting closer.

In this competition, Dino had the first blow of his career as a professional bodybuilder. An absolute favorite for the title, he had a shorter preparation than usual and lost to Wesley Vissers – who had taken seventh place at Olympia 2023.

After obtaining his first adverse result in the IFBB Pro League, Dino went to Olympia to write a story of overcoming. Everyone expected another direct duel between the Brazilian and the Canadian, which did not happen. Problems with the athlete’s finishing made him rise clearly worse than the previous year, which made him fall to fourth position.

The tournament in question ended Dino’s worst season in the professional league. The bodybuilder won, but he was not convincing. At that moment, his potential began to be questioned, as he showed no tangible improvements in his physique.

In 2025, everything changed. Dino returned to work with Fabrício Pacholok and hired André Pierin to help him with the poses. The athlete’s mentality, according to everyone in his inner circle, has transformed. It was then that, after training like never before and doing the longest preparation of his life, the Brazilian bodybuilder turned things around and presented the best physique of his career at the Olympia. That night, he made history and won the world title.
