New York resident takes dogs to the subways to cheer others up. And he even created a brand of backpacks for dogs.
The adventure began with a Corgi in a backpack in a subway carriage that was more than full.
Your name is Bryan Reisberg, lives in New York, and one day he remembered to take his dog Maxine to public transport. And he realized that this cheered people up.
That presence hardly went unnoticed: the dog was inside a backpack.
She published videos, the “backpack bitch” became a star. “It was crazy and totally unexpected”, comments Bryan on .
What did you do? He quit and created a brand of dog backpacks, Little Chonk.
More than that: he started trying helping homeless dogs.
It was then that, after conversations with the Best Friends Animal Society association, he had an idea: every week, Bryan picks up a dog and takes it to the city in a backpack with a tag that says “Adopt me”.
Looking for dog foster families. Taking dogs to the streets, for transport. He records videos, spreads the news, and has already surpassed 75 million views.

The project is still in its infancy, but of the 11 dogs that Bryan piggybacked, 10 were adopted. The only exception is a dog that has a chronic health problem.
Furthermore: adoptions at the shelter have increased considerably: there are now 100 more dogs adopted compared to the same period last year.
And the backpack is probably the reason.
