Holiday playlist of Čapkovičová and Chynoranský from Miláčikov: There is one immortal hit!

Dana Čapkovičová builds on songs about the relationship between man and animal – from the tender Líška (Jana Kirschner) to the film You’ve Got a Friend in Me to the comforting Over the Rainbow for “beyond the rainbow bridge” furries. Martin “Chyno” Chynoranský adds the timeless Band Aid classic – Do They Know It’s Christmas? (1984): catchy, excellently arranged and with a charitable message that belongs to Christmas.

Songs tend to be associated with various life events, or we sing some of them for years because we love them. If the presenters of the show Miláčikovo Dana Čapkovičova and Martin Chyno Chynoranský were to create a playlist, which song should definitely not be missing?

At the time when I had to say goodbye to my first dog under very dramatic circumstances, they were playing on the radio song by Jana Kirschner – Líška. It was a theme from The Little Prince made into a love song. It is sung there: “After all, to tame means to create a bond. When one leaves, the other is sorry…” This touched me so much in that period of my life that I would have this song on my playlist – about the strong bond between man and animal that cannot be imitated by anything else. But if you want more modern versions, maybe Randy Newman You’ve Got a Friend in Me and for all the animalswhich are already over the rainbow bridge, it would be an unforgettable song Over the rainbow.

There would definitely be a song from Band Aid – Do They Know It’s Christmas? from 1984. In my opinion, this is the best Christmas song of all time, which I like to play even during the summer. And besides the fact that it is incredibly melodic and well arranged, it also had a charitable dimension in its time.
