JOJ television won a real triumph. After the arrival of the new director Martina Flašíková at STVR, drastic changes occurred in public television. Flašíková, among others, put a stop to the show I Love Slovakia, which viewers have been watching since 2013.
The moderator of the show was Martin Nikodým (54), while Adela Vinczeová (45) and Dano Dangl (50), who led star teams as captains, were also a permanent part of the show. However, after the end of the broadcast on STVR, the show was noticed by competitors and the rights were finally grabbed by JOJ television.
At the end of August, Nikodým confirmed that he remains part of the program. However, questions began to appear from all sides, whether Vinczeová and Dangl will continue in the show. For a long time, no one knew what their decision would be.
Although Adela initially indicated that she would only remain in the original line-up, the reality is different. The presenter agreed to the offer of a new television, but the audience will not see Dangla anymore. His place was eventually taken by Adela’s longtime colleague and close friend, Matej Sajfa Cifra (46).
Both the television and the main protagonists revealed on social networks that the shooting of the show has started on a new ground. “The first door has fallen! Filming of the popular show I love Slovakia started today. Adela, Sajfa and Martin are ready! What about you, will you spend the last day of the year with us? We look forward to seeing you at New Year’s Eve We love Slovakia, already on Wednesday at 22:00 on New Year’s Eve,” revealed JOJka, when viewers can look forward to the first episode.
Nikodým shared a video with his followers that went viral on social media. Teacher Danieca Arreglado Goc-ong from the Philippines loves to sing, but her performance is not entirely pleasing to the ear. At one event, where she presented herself as a presenter, she sang the Christmas classic “All I want for Christmas”. Nikodym was also interested in this video, which you can find above the article. “For the future in I love Slovakia,” he joked.
