The president of , (-PB), canceled this Wednesday’s plenary session (17), which would probably be the last of the year, dedicated to projects that had consensus among all parties and, therefore, are less controversial or relevant.
Motta is a fan of , the team that played and lost, on Wednesday afternoon, against PSG. Initially, there would be a meeting of party leaders at 5pm, right after the game, and the plenary session afterwards, but both were cancelled.
With a draw in regulation time, the game went into extra time and ended up being decided on penalties.
The report questioned Motta’s advisor about the reason for the cancellations and is awaiting a response.
Earlier this Wednesday, Motta said that he would discuss the cases of (-SP) and (PL-RJ) at the leaders’ meeting, which are at risk of impeachment. The decision on the loss of their mandate must be made by the Board of Directors, led by Motta.
Last week, Motta had said that he intended to be a parliamentarian, which should start on Friday (19). This Thursday (17), there will be a session of the (joint session of deputies and senators) to vote on the 2026 Annual Budget Law.
On the 29th, Motta was in Lima, Peru, to follow Flamengo’s game in the Copa Libertadores final.
