Of the eight norms of the nationality law monitored at the request of the PS, five ended up failing, as Cotrim Figueiredo states?

Did Gouveia e Melo have lunch with Ventura at the invitation of a tycoon, as Catarina Martins says?

In this Tuesday’s debate, in front of António José Seguro, João Cotrim de Figueiredo stated, regarding the nationality law, that there was a party that decided to raise the inspection of eight norms, of which five ended up failed. The SIC Polygraph went to check.

As reported by the Observerthe Constitutional Court failed five of the eight rules over which PS deputies had requested preventive inspection.

The SIC Polygraph therefore considers the statement to be true.

Only three of the rules, related to the absence of a transitional regime for the law to come into force, were not rejected by the panel of judges.
