Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday called European leaders “little pigs” who want to profit from Russia’s collapse. TASR informs about it according to the Politico magazine report.
At a meeting at the Ministry of Defense, Putin accused former US President Joe Biden of “deliberately unleashing” the war in Ukraine and in his words, the “little European pigs” immediately supported the United States’ actions.
“Europe wanted to regain something it had lost in past historical periods and take revenge on Russia,” Putin declared, saying that these plans “completely failed.” “Russia has demonstrated its stability in the field of economy, finances, the internal political situation of the society and in the field of defense,” the Russian president added.
Putin said that Russia is ready for dialogue with Europe, but that, according to him, will not be possible with the current generation of European politicians. He praised the “combat-experienced” Russian army, which “has no competition in the world.” According to Russian media, the term “little pigs” for Western leaders has also been used by ex-president and vice-chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on his Telegram since 2022.
