The minister of the Secretariat of Institutional Relations (SRI), Gleisi Hoffmann, stated this Tuesday, 17th, via X, that there are no negotiations or agreements in the Senate involving the Dosimetry PL. The project, which reduces sentences for those convicted of the acts of January 8th and benefits former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), should be voted on in the House this Wednesday, 17th.
“There is no negotiation or agreement in the Senate involving the bill to reduce sentences for coup plotters convicted by the STF. The government is against this proposal and advises its base to vote against it, for already known reasons: those who attacked democracy have to pay for their crimes and, in addition, the bill approved in the Chamber benefits those convicted of several other crimes”, stated Gleisi.
This Tuesday, senators began to state that the dosimetry project was part of an agreement signed between the government and the opposition, in exchange for the approval of the project on tax benefits.

In addition to Gleisi, other government leaders deny that there is a negotiation to approve the project that reduces the sentences imposed on the former president.
