Bregenz – The Thuringian mayor Harald Witzer (ÖVP, Feldkirch district) and an official from a municipal association have been found guilty at the Feldkirch regional court of tax evasion and grossly negligent tax reduction. In connection with a municipal property management company, they were accused of evading 140,000 euros in sales tax, and another 140,000 euros were paid late, the ORF reported. The judgment is not final.
