Warner rejects $108 billion offer from Paramount and recommends proposal from Netflix

(WBD) rejected the offer from its competitor Skydance, presented last week, and is inclined towards the Netflix purchase proposal, the company announced this Wednesday (17) in a statement.

Paramount’s proposal — which valued Warner Bros. at US$108 billion — “does not serve WBD’s interests,” the film distribution and production company said in a statement recommending its shareholders to favor WBD’s proposal.
