Lusail – Jordan’s national football team lost the final of the Arab Cup in Lusail (Qatar). Austria’s group opponents at the 2026 World Cup in North America had to admit defeat to Morocco on Thursday after a close game 2:3 (2:1,0:1) after extra time. The Jordanians already looked like the winners in regular time and led 2-1 until shortly before the end. But the Moroccan fourth place in the 2022 World Cup managed a late comeback.
