Central Bank raises GDP growth projection to 2.3% in 2025

The BC (Central Bank) revised the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth projection from 2025 to 2,3% In the previous report, it was at 2%. The projection appears in the Monetary Policy Report released this Thursday (18).

For 2026, the estimate rose from 1.5% to 1.6%, influenced by the greater statistical load resulting from the higher growth in 2025 and the inclusion of preliminary estimates for the effects of the exemption or discount on Personal Income Tax.
