A Registration is open for the 70th edition of the Diary Training Program. The emphasis of this next class will be on economics. Applications can be sent until 10pm on January 29, 2026.
For three months, from March 9th to June 5th of next year, the selected trainees will have conversations and lectures with journalists and experts, as well as an immersion in the routine of the newspaper’s editorial offices.
At the end of the period, the group will produce special reports that will be published in Sheet.
The class of 2026 will have 20 vacancies, half of which will be allocated to black, brown, indigenous and people with disabilities candidates. The other 10 will be filled through broad competition. University students and professionals trained in any field, not just journalism, can apply.
You must be available to participate in person in activities in São Paulo, from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6:30pm.
Candidates will be able to indicate the need for financial assistance grants to follow the program, whose selection process consists of three phases. The first, to which all registered people advance, is an online test with questions in Portuguese, English, general knowledge and writing.
The second phase consists of the analysis of CVs and the evaluation of the text covering a press conference. Individual interviews and a possible new written test make up the third and final phase of the process, which will be completed by February 27th.
Questions can be sent to email.
