Cristiano Ronaldo is once again the face of Saudi Arabia’s tourism promotion campaign, now highlighting experiences and places that go beyond football. The initiative, titled “I came for football, I stayed for more”, shows the Portuguese player exploring the Red Sea coast, the historic region of AlUla and cities such as Jeddah, Riyadh and Diriyah, combining culture, leisure and heritage.
The campaign aims to reinforce the country’s international projection and bring it closer to strategic markets. International tourism in Saudi Arabia was opened in 2019 and is part of Vision 2030, with significant investments planned to develop the sector and diversify the economy.
