“With a heart full of gratitude, affection and love, I share that I am no longer part of the @granderio Muses team

I am immensely grateful for the invitation and for all the incredible moments we experienced together, Grande Rio. I was extremely well received since my arrival, especially by the community, and this will forever remain in my memory and in my heart.

I hope that Grande Rio experiences a beautiful, powerful and exciting Carnival, as its history deserves!

And to Carnival, who opened his arms to welcome me, I can only offer gratitude. Carnival goes far beyond just a party that can be played: it is a cultural movement of resistance. Many people and families fought to make it accessible to everyone, as it is today. Carnival creates jobs, supports homes and puts food on the plates of countless informal workers. As a creator of culture for decades, I deeply know the value of this manifestation that welcomed me so well.

So, to all my Carnival art colleagues, thank you very much!

This was a beautiful chapter in my story with you, Grande Rio.

Once again, thank you very much.”
