Remo continues its preparation to return to compete in Series A of the Brazilian Championship. This Thursday (12/18), the Pará club made the signing of Juan Carlos Osorio official for 2026.
The 64-year-old Colombian coach arrives to replace Guto Ferreira, who did not renew for 2026. This will be Osorio’s third job in Brazil.

Juan Carlos Osório: who he is and career
Juan Carlos Osório was born in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia. At 64 years old, he has managed teams in Colombia, Egypt and the United States, as well as the teams in Mexico and Paraguay.
In Brazil, he coached São Paulo for 29 matches, leaving the team to coach Mexico for the 2018 World Cup. Afterwards, he coached Athletico-PR, in 2024, but for a short period. Osório left Furacão after six wins, four draws and one defeat, being fired after being eliminated from Paranense by Londrina.
