New Kirk Dikdiks: offspring of Africa’s smallest antelopes in Vienna

Vienna – Vienna’s Schönbrunn Zoo is happy about the offspring of Africa’s smallest antelopes: a Kirk’s dik-dik was born in Vienna on Tuesday. This means that there are currently two young antelopes that are only the size of a brown hare when fully grown. The young animals can also be seen over the Christmas holidays, but visitors will probably need a little patience because the offspring are usually hidden in the grass for the first few weeks.
