Trump company enters nuclear fusion business

Trump Media will pay $200 million upon signing the agreement

Trump Media & Techonogy Group, a company linked to American President Donald Trump behind the Truth Social network, announced this Wednesday (18) that it is entering the nuclear fusion sector. The tycoon’s company merged its business with TAE Technologies. The exchange of shares was approved by the boards of both companies and is expected to be completed in 2026. The move still needs to be approved by the companies’ shareholders and regulatory bodies.

The agreement provides for the construction of a nuclear plant from 2026 with a capacity of 50 MW. Trump Media will pay $200 million at signing and $100 million at closing.
