Enilson Vieira de Andrade, 50 years old, died late this Thursday morning (18) after suffering an electric shock while working on a metal structure at a food company, located at km 12 of BR-364, in Vila Albert Sampaio, in Rio Branco.

According to information from witnesses, the victim was covering the structure, installing zinc sheets, when, while trying to position an iron bar, he ended up touching the high voltage network. With the electric shock, Enilson lost consciousness and was left hanging from the metal structure.
Company employees called the Fire Department and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), which sent an advanced support ambulance to the scene.

After being removed from the structure, the victim underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, but did not resist and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was isolated by military police from the 2nd Battalion for forensic work. Once the procedures were completed, the body was removed and sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for cadaveric examinations.
The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
