The ball market remains hot. Palmeiras analyzes the signing of striker Brenner, formerly of São Paulo. The 25-year-old player, who belongs to Udinese-ITA and was on loan at FC Cincinnati, was offered to the rival. THE Sporting News brings details.
Brenner at Palmeiras: how is the negotiation going?
Brenner, created by Cotia, who played for São Paulo between 2017 and 2020, has an undefined situation abroad and could be an option at Palmeiras in 2026.
The initial assessment is cautious, with no immediate progress in negotiations. Palmeiras’ idea is to better map the market before deciding whether it is worth opening formal conversations.

Brenner: worth and salary
The 25-year-old player came up in the youth categories of Tricolor Paulista and was sold in 2021 to Cincinnati, in the United States, for around R$70 million, with bonuses and resale percentage. Two seasons later, after standing out in MLS with 27 goals in 72 games, he was bought by Udinese-ITA for around US$10 million (around R$50 million at the time).
With little draft status at the Italian club and with a contract until the middle of 2028, Brenner was loaned to Cincinnati in the last window with a contract until the end of 2025. The American team chose not to execute the purchase clause. During this period there were 10 games with six goals and one assist.
The player’s current market value is around 4 million euros, something close to R$25 million.
