Germany: Ministry of Finance buys 17,000 smartphones – but cannot use them

Something similar – on a slightly larger scale – probably happened to those responsible at the German Ministry of Finance (BMF) when they bought 17,321 new smartphones, which soon later turned out to be unusable. This can be seen from a report by the German Court of Auditors, which mercilessly tears apart the bad purchase.
