One day after Congress approved the project that reduces sentences for those convicted on January 8, contrary to the government (PT), the president received (-PB), president of the Chamber, to present a model of the crossing of the São Francisco River.
Without commenting on the so-called Dosimetry PL, approved by both Houses, and about which Lula has already discussed, the two exchanged public praise and shared simulated reality glasses at a relaxed event in Planalto.
On the occasion, Minister Waldez Góes (Regional Development) presented the model that will serve as the basis for the works to transpose the São Francisco River, which crosses states in the Northeast.
To learn about the project, Lula invited parliamentarians from the states that will be covered by the work, including his former minister Juscelino Filho (União-MA), the new Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Feliciano, and his father, federal deputy Damião Feliciano (União Brasil-PB).
The presentation of the model took place after Lula met with the new minister (who replaces Celso Sabino), his Minister of Institutional Relations, Gleisi Hoffmann, and representatives of União Brasil
When speaking with Motta, Lula chose to highlight the approval of the tax reform by Congress.
“Having finished approving everything we had to approve in the tax department, after approving all the important things in the country, receiving this model that I’ve been asking for for a long time, honestly, it’s a lot of joy for me,” said Lula.
