There is a lot of coming and going in the early afternoon at the “Bistro Flameau”. Florian Gassmann and Alina Stantejsky serve tea and coffee; the two recently took over “Inges Eck” in the third district – and gently renovated it. The place breathes Beisl history and seems fresh at the same time. The dart machine is reminiscent of old times, the almost five meter long bar, on the other hand, has been reclad, benches and armchairs have been covered, and a work of art hangs on the wall. The Bistro Flameau features vegetarian dishes on the menu, and the refrigerator in the corner is evidence of Gassmann’s passion for natural wine – he was previously service manager at Café Kriemhild and worked at Reznicek.
