Research by the Paraná Institute released this Wednesday (17) for Pará shows the current governor, Helder Barbalho (MDB), with loose leadership and a fierce dispute for the second place between the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino (no party), deputy Delegate Eder Mauro (PL) and senator Zequinha Marinho (Podemos).
The institute interviewed 1,505 voters between December 12th and 15th, in 60 municipalities in the state.
Two scenarios were researched, with a margin of error of 2.6 percentage points. In one, Helder has 55.9%, followed by Sabino, with 31.4%, Marinho with 26.1% and the current president of the Legislative Assembly, Chicão (MDB), obtains 12.6%.
In the other, Helder records 50.8%, followed by Mauro (32.2%), Sabino (22.2%) and Marinho (18.7%).
Helder must resign from his position by the beginning of April to apply. Sabino, who was expelled from União Brasil, is still looking for a party to join. He says he analyzes several invitations.
