Polar bears also adopt children


Adoption is not uncommon these days – at least among people. Things are different with polar bears, even if they are spared the bureaucracy behind it: in 45 years, only thirteen cases of polar bear adoptions have been observed. It is even rarer for experts to be able to identify and film the family. This is exactly what a Canadian research team has now managed to do.
