As shirts of 18 Paris Saint-Germain players in the Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo were made available in an online auctionpromoted by the MWS (Match Worn Shirt) platform, specialized in items used in games and a partner of several clubs around the world. One of the shirts posted on the website belongs to goalkeeper Matvey SafonovPSG’s title hero.
All shirts were worn and will have the autograph of their respective player, as well as a digital certificate. There is only one uniform per athlete. The auction deadline ends on December 24th, at 12pm (Brasília time). There is a promise of delivery between December 26th and the 30th if the winner of the auction is from Brazil. The shirts are stored in the city of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, where the MWS headquarters are located.
The auction began as soon as Flamengo x PSG started, at 2pm (Brasília time) last Wednesday (12/17). Safonov’s shirt received 23 bids in 30 hours and is being bought by a Brazilian, who has committed to paying R$ 11.677,53. The price includes R$9,898 for the shirt, plus 15% of the bid (R$1,484.70) for the company’s infrastructure costs and another R$294.83 for shipping.

Who does the auction money go to?
All the money for the 18 shirts will go to PSG, who will use the money for charitable projects. The club develops several charitable and social responsibility actions through programa PSG For Communitieswhich has existed since 2000. The focus is on supporting children and young people in vulnerable situations, using sport as a tool for inclusion, education and social development, both in France and in other countries.
Among the main actions are projects aimed at including girls in sports, support for children with autism, educational support in schools and hospitals, as well as help for students in financial difficulty.
