The Los Angeles County Coroner has released reports on the cause of death of the director and his wife, photographer Michelle Singer Reiner.
The cause of death is listed as “multiple injuries from a sharp instrument” and . The date of death, which had been the subject of speculation, is listed as Sunday, December 14, the Guardian reports.
The Reiners’ bodies were found Sunday at their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, after their daughter Romi went to check on them.
