Almost 40 faction members were arrested in Ficco operations in Acre in 2025; see details

With a direct focus on the arrests of members of criminal factions, the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime in Acre (FICCO/AC) ended 2025 with 36 people arrested in operations carried out throughout the year in the state.

The balance points to the execution of 20 preventive arrest warrants and 16 arrests in the act, in addition to 31 search and seizure warrants. The actions are part of joint action between the Federal Police, Civil Police, Military Police, Criminal Police and the Acre Department of Justice and Public Security.

In addition to the arrests, the operations resulted in significant drug seizures. In total, more than 171 kilos of cocaine and around 362 kilos of marijuana and skunk were removed from circulation. The work also led to the seizure of eight firearms and 74 ammunition.

The investigations focused efforts on identifying and dismantling criminal factions operating in Acre, involved in crimes such as drug trafficking, homicides and money laundering, reaching the strategic structures and cores of these organizations.

Since the beginning of the task force, in August 2023, FICCO/AC’s accumulated numbers indicate 102 operations launched, with 81 preventive arrest warrants served and 52 arrests in the act, totaling 133 people arrested. During this period, more than 614 kilos of narcotics were also seized, in addition to 19 firearms and 305 ammunition.

For 2026, FICCO/AC informed that it intends to increase the number of operations, with priority on identifying, locating and arresting leaders of criminal factions, reinforcing the fight against organized crime and the presence of the State in areas considered strategic in Acre.
