The third edition of the Women’s Cup will have the champion defined this Saturday (20). Starting at 6pm (Brasília time), Flamengo and Grêmio decide the title at Pacaembu, in São Paulo. Champions in 2023, the Meninas da Gávea want to win twice, while the Musketeers reach the final of the under-20 tournament in an unprecedented way.

Tickets for the final are free, but must be generated via the website. Prior registration and facial image collection are required.

The two teams reached the decision with similar campaigns. Both won three games and drew two, qualifying on penalties. Grêmio was successful in the limelight in the semi-final, against Santos, at the Centro Esportivo, Recreativo e Educativo do Trabalhador (Ceret), after the net did not swing in normal time. Flamengo needed penalties in the quarterfinals, at the same location, to overcome Ferroviária, after a 1-1 draw with the ball rolling.

The Rio team’s numbers, however, are better than those of the Rio Grande do Sul team. In addition to the most positive attack in the competition, with 23 goals scored, most of them in the 11-0 rout of Aliança-GO, in the debut, the red-blacks have the Copinha’s top scorer, striker Brendha, with eight goals. Two of them in Internacional’s 2-1 comeback victory at Canindé. The Musketeers only found the net six times on the journey to the final, but they have the least leaky defense: they only conceded one goal.

“It was a merit of our athletes having the ability to develop and score goals. In the other games, we knew they would be women’s football classics and they grow with that. Experiencing great games makes them develop and have the capacity to solve”, said Flamengo coach, Filipe Torres, in a press conference at the headquarters of the São Paulo Football Federation (FPF).

“Our defensive organization has become a very solid base and there is no way to escape this characteristic. With this, we can create good conditions for the girls at the front to also be able to play their important role, of finishing the plays”, analyzed coach Marcelo Mostadeiro, from Grêmio, in the same press conference.

The teams reached important national finals in 2025, both broadcast live on TV Brasil. Flamengo was runner-up in the Brazilian under-20 championship after losing the final to Botafogo. Fourteen of the 16 red and black players who took to the field in that game are on the Copinha squad.

Grêmio was defeated by Corinthians in the under-17 Brasileirão decision. Goalkeeper Josi, defender Allyne, midfielder Rayssa and attackers Ana Lays and Isabeli, who were in that final, are among those who could be champions of the under-20 tournament this Saturday.
