What the locals think of the new Mandarin Oriental in Vienna

Architect Alfred Keller built the six-story, secessionist office building at Riemergasse 7 to last forever. His Art Nouveau colossus, which opened in 1908, served as a commercial court for almost 100 years until it moved out in 2003. After being vacant for more than 20 years, the listed building has been looking good again since the beginning of December. The years of construction work are history; the Hotel Mandarin Oriental Vienna has moved in with 138 rooms and suites.
