Fiction writer Lídia Jorge, who is also a State counselor, won the Fernando Pessoa 2025 award. She is the cover subject of the Expresso magazine, in an interview carried out by Christiana Martins and Luciana Leiderfarb. In the year before the 40th anniversary, the Pessoa Prize was once again awarded to a woman, the seventh out of 39. She is the first woman writer, the first fiction author. Lídia Jorge is already preparing a new book to be released in 2026, about the present.
