Always smiling singer Martina Schindlerová you went through a very difficult period years ago. The former superstar became the mother of two children, daughter Martinka (13) and son Kamilka (11). She experienced difficult moments in her life with her ex-husband Kamil Haršány, who ended up in prison. The singer openly talks about the toxic marriage from which she escaped. Since then, a lot has changed in her life and she has gained a new perspective on the world. Our editorial office with the musician Teri Čikoš, interviewed the singer at the event of the non-governmental organization Úsmev kako dar, which operates in the field of alternative care, assistance to families at risk in Slovakia and victims of crimes.
Martina finds a reason to smile every day. “I’ve been smiling since morning. My children are always smiling, mom, why are you always smiling. That be happy and learn it. I’m such a smiling person, but it takes a lot of work on yourself, because every second we have an infinite number of possibilities to be nasr*Ty and an infinity of possibilities to be grateful and satisfied and happy. And it is about the power that which thought I will choose from all the possible ones. So I’m learning to notice the beautiful,” she revealed.
Christmas will be a little sadder this year. “Well, I’ll spend them with my family. Like many separated couples, one Christmas the kids are with mom and another Christmas with dad. So this year, I will actually have dinner with the children the day after Christmas. But then again, I don’t even want to annoy them that they will have it once or twice. Because, of course, we try to make it easier for those children. Probably like many other couples. So cool. I’ll have a nice Christmas“, the singer let herself be heard.
What can’t be missing from their Christmas table? “I thought everyone had carp and potato salad. It must be, but it’s not my favorite. I don’t like carp,” she revealed about herself.
Throughout the year, the family has a joint activity. “I bake gingerbread with the children. And I bake all year round, I also like to cook. We are such a cooking family that we have a common activity, that we find a recipe and cook together and get everything dirty and then I clean it up“, she added with a smile on her lips.
