Pre-candidate for President of the Republic in , , of the new , linked to the (Movimento Brasil Livre), came in second place among voters aged 16 to 24, the so-called Generation Z, in a survey released by Atlasintel/Bloomberg last Thursday (18).
It scored 18.6% in this segment, technically tied with (PL), which got 16.4%. It was only behind (PT), which had 33.5%, and ahead of better-known names, such as . (PSD), with 13.1%, (União Brasil), with 10.1% and (Republicans), which had 8%.
In the total survey, Renan had 2.4% to 3.6%, depending on the scenario. The survey was carried out between November 10th and 15th, with a margin of error of 1 percentage point.
Coordinator of the MBL, which emerged as a right-wing youth movement in the last decade, Renan intends to prioritize the call in his electoral campaign. The strategy is to bet that the segment will boost the candidacy, as happened in the past.
“Bolsonaro gained momentum when this same audience embraced his campaign in 2018, just as happened with na and nos. I have absolute confidence that this audience will also boost our campaign and that we will advance even further in the next polls,” he states.
