The expansion of the market included improvements in infrastructure, functionality, security and accessibility, creating a more suitable environment for traders, stallholders and consumers. Investment strengthens the local economy, stimulates entrepreneurship and expands income generation opportunities.

During the event, Colonel Ulysses highlighted that investing in public spaces is investing directly in people’s dignity and in the economic development of the municipality.

“When we allocate resources to a municipal market, we are strengthening small traders, generating income, moving the economy and ensuring more dignity for those who work and for those who consume. This is how the mandate needs to act: with concrete results and a real impact on people’s lives”, said the deputy.

The parliamentarian also reinforced that his mandate has prioritized actions that combine infrastructure, economic development and social assistance, especially in interior municipalities and more vulnerable communities.

The work at the Emídio Rodrigues Municipal Market adds to a series of investments made possible by deputy Coronel Ulysses, reaffirming his commitment to public policies that generate development, social inclusion and improving the population’s quality of life.
