With the Copa do Brasil title this Sunday (21) over Vasco, at Maracanã, Corinthians collected a total of R$97.8 million in prizes throughout the competition, almost 80% of which came from winning the final.
Debuting in the third phase of the competition, after its participation in the Copa Libertadores, the club had a duel in São Paulo and eliminated Novorizontino with two 1-0 victories, when they secured R$ 2.3 million.
For their place in the round of 16, Corinthians received another R$3.6 million, a phase in which they eliminated their rival Palmeiras —who they had already defeated in the Campeoanto Paulista final— with two victories, 1-0 at Neo Química Arena, and 2-0 at Allianz Parque.
In the quarterfinals, having secured R$4.7 million, they left Athletico Paranaense along the way. In the semi-finals, they eliminated Cruzeiro, on penalties, in addition to winning over R$9.9 million in prize money.
For the victory against Vasco in the final, Corinthians earned another R$77.1 million, while Cruz-Maltino received R$33 million for runners-up.
