On the 15th and penultimate round of the year, the ‘dragons’ traveled to Alverca and won the three points that guarantee the maintenance of their isolated leadership, with 43 points.

FC Porto was the first of the ‘big ones’ to take the field in the 15th round of the Primeira Liga and secure the three points, after winning with goals from Borja Sainz (29′ and 69′ minutes) and Alan Varela (57′) against FC Alverca.

This was the seventh consecutive victory for the ‘dragons’, who only conceded one draw in the 15 rounds already played, while Alverca recorded their second consecutive defeat.

With this triumph, FC Porto maintained its first place, now with 43 points, eight more than Sporting, second placed and which on Tuesday ends the day at Vitória de Guimarães’ home, while the Ribatejos are in 11th place, with the same 17 points as Rio Ave (10th) and Estoril Praia (ninth).
