Flávio Bolsonaro is invited to an event with Netanyahu in Israel

Senator and presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) will be in Israel in January to participate in an international event to combat anti-Semitism. The meeting will also be attended by his brother, Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP).

Promoted by the Israeli government, the Annual Conference to Combat Anti-Semitism is scheduled for January 26th and 27th, in Jerusalem. The event will be attended by the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a publication on the X network, Flávio thanked the invitation and stated that he felt “deeply honored to participate in an event of such international relevance”.

“Brazil and Israel share a solid historical, human and civilizational bond, built on common values such as freedom, democracy and respect for human dignity”, says the senator. “I reaffirm my non-negotiable commitment to always be at the side of the Jewish people.”

The presence in Israel is an attempt by Flávio to consolidate his image in the international media, as his father, Jair Bolsonaro, did during his presidential term. The senator’s approach to Israel contrasts with the stance of President Lula, who is not welcome in the country after criticizing Netanyahu’s government and the conflict in Gaza.
