According to her, the driver of a passenger motor vehicle was driving at night along Ráztočná Street in the Vrakuňa district in the direction of the city center. Before entering the roundabout, he did not adjust his driving speed to his abilities or the condition of the road, he left the road, broke through the barriers and the vehicle ended up in a field.
“After the traffic accident, the driver got out of the vehicle and tried to leave the scene. He was detained by the traffic police and the emergency motorized unit,” said Bartošová. According to her, the subsequent breath test showed a value of 1.75 per thousand of alcohol.
On the social network, the police published images of how they gave a man an alcohol test. One of the policemen then informed him that he was restricted in his personal freedom and asked him to take all the things out of his pockets. That’s when the man turned on the lawmen. “I’m really not going to be home for Christmas? I’m not going to be home for Christmas because of this, huh?” he asked them directly. Police officers escorted Vratko V. to the police station. “The investigator subsequently charged him with the criminal offense of endangerment under the influence of an addictive substance,” the spokeswoman added. If he is found guilty, he faces up to one year in prison.
