According to one of the victims, criminals took the rings and attacked her husband with a paddle; SSP-SP says that the São Vicente Police Station is working to identify and arrest the suspects
A couple was robbed on Sunday (21) during a kayak trip at Praia dos Milionários, in São Vicente, in . A witness, who was on the sand strip, recorded the approach of the criminals.
The images show the moment when the duo, on a watercraft, approaches the kayak and announces the assault against the couple. After the action, they left the place towards the open sea.
In an interview with the portal g1the 47-year-old woman said that the criminals took the couple’s rings and attacked her 53-year-old husband with one of the oars. According to the victim, the man suffered injuries to his leg and head.
In a note sent to Young Panthe São Paulo Public Security Secretariat () reported that the São Vicente Police Station is investigating the case. He also said that “teams from the unit are working to identify and arrest the suspects, as well as recover the stolen items.”
The SSP-SP also stated that it mobilized more than 4 thousand police officers to intensify policing on the coast of São Paulo. The measure is part of Operation Summer. “The reinforcement adds to the teams already operating in coastal cities and includes the participation of specialized units, such as the Shock, Road, Environmental, Aviation and Fire Department Policing Commands,” said the secretariat.
