Brazilian tennis fans will be able to enjoy the tennis elite in December 2026. The São Paulo Super Match event will be held on December 12, 2026, and will feature an exhibition between João Fonseca and Carlos Alcaraz.
Fonseca and Alcaraz recently faced each other for the first time in an exhibition in Miami, with the Spaniard winning the tie-break match. The event was at the Miami Marlins baseball stadium, adapted with a tennis court and bleachers around it.
Where will João Fonseca x Carlos Alcaraz take place in Brazil?
The match between João Fonseca and Carlos Alcaraz will be held at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. The Palmeiras stadium should receive a tennis court shortly after the end of Brasileirão 2026.
The event will be held by 30e, the largest Brazilian live entertainment company, and presented by Itaú. The pre-sale of tickets for bank customers began this Tuesday (12/23), at 10am (Brasília time), and prices vary between R$807.50 and R$5,925.00.

Alcaraz and Fonseca: moment
Current number 24 in the world, Fonseca had a meteoric rise in 2025, winning his first two tournaments, the ATP 250 in Buenos Aires and the ATP 500 in Basel, defeating established players such as Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas, and reaching the third round of Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Alcaraz, in turn, has already made his name in the history of world tennis before turning 22 years old. With six Grand Slam titles and 50 weeks at the top of the world rankings, the Spaniard announced last week that he has ended his long partnership with coach Juan Carlos Ferrero.
