Joaquim Monchique suffered a stroke last Saturday night, December 20th, minutes after the end of the show ‘Lar Doce Lar’, which was on stage at the Municipal Theater of Bragança.
On Sunday (21), the information was confirmed by ‘Força de Produção’, producer of the event, who explained that the actor was “hospitalized”, stating that the following hours would be “observation” ().
Joaquim Monchique seems to have already recovered quickly and has already been discharged, as shared by the aforementioned producer.
In a statement sent to newsrooms, and according to the website, the actor is “stable” and very grateful for all the messages of affection he has received in recent days.
“After a stroke last Saturday, Joaquim Monchique has already been discharged and is currently in a stable health situation. At his request, we convey a huge thank you to everyone who showed their concern and affection. A special thank you to the public of Bragança, the Bragança Public Hospital and the Cuf Tejo Hospital, in Lisbon”but
According to the website, in the statement it is also possible to know that Joaquim Monchique will “soon” return to the stage.
