RedeTV! announced this Monday, the 22nd, that the company’s president, Amilcare Dallevo Júnior, acquired all of Marcelo de Carvalho’s shares. Both founded the television channel together 26 years ago, in November 1999.
In a statement, the company highlighted that “the operation reinforces the commitment to continuity, stability and innovation that have always marked the broadcaster’s trajectory”.
“The broadcaster will continue to invest in innovative projects both on open TV and in the digital environment, expanding its multiplatform presence and incorporating new artificial intelligence technologies to strengthen content production, journalism, entertainment and the public experience”, he added.
The statement thanks Carvalho for his years of collaboration. He also indicated that he will continue with business activities in the real estate, technology and digital media sectors.
At RedeTV!, the businessman also has 15 years of experience as a game show presenter. He is especially known for the Mega Sonho and Mega Senha programs.
