Real Madrid and Lyon agree Endrick loan – 23/12/2025 – Sport

Lyon announced this Tuesday (23) that it has reached an agreement with Real Madrid to have Brazilian striker Endrick on loan until June 2026, when the European season ends.

The 19-year-old player arrived at the Merengue club in mid-2024, but was not in coach Xabi Alonso’s plans, who gave him few minutes on the field in recent months.

The value of the operation is around 1 million euros (R$6.5 million at current exchange rates), with no purchase option at the end of the loan contract.

“His offensive profile, his impact in decisive areas and his energy are important to support the team in the second half of the season, which is marked by numerous objectives to be achieved,” Lyon highlighted in a statement.

Endrick is expected to perform on December 29th for his new club, currently fifth in the French Championship and leading the first phase of the Europa League.

The young striker, who has 14 games and three goals scored for the Brazilian national team, also hopes to relaunch his career in France with a view to the 2026 World Cup.

“Yes, I spoke to him [Endrick] at the beginning of this season. He was injured, but now he is well, back, and he has to think with his surroundings about what is best (…) I believe that for him it is important to return to playing and show his qualities”, said the national team coach, Carlo Ancelotti, in an interview published by Placar magazine in November.
