Her funny nature was also experienced by the crew, who had no idea for a long time that the German actress speaks Czech. However, she only speaks German in the film and had to be overdubbed. Unfortunately, she died five years after the premiere of the cult fairy tale.

Although Braunbock was successful in her professional life, she was not so lucky in her personal life. Just when she had started her career and started a family, tragedy struck her. When her son was only four months old, her husband died suddenly. She herself also left early – at the age of 54. During her life, she played around 80 roles and, in addition to acting, also worked on the radio.
