Sandra Felgueiras was on the program ‘Dois à 10’ this Wednesday, December 24th, talking about her personal and professional life path.
At some point, and because Christmas Eve is celebrated today, the journalist decided to leave a message alluding to the festive season.
After highlighting that she inherited the kindness and generosity of her grandparents and uncles, Sandra Felgueiras said: “I, this Christmas, would like to tell you here, from the bottom of my heart, that I hope that, I don’t know if you remember this case but it was a case that really impacted me throughout the year…”he began by saying.
Before even remembering the news of a couple – Carla and Paulo – who lost a 21-year-old son, as he was run over by a taxi driver who ended up running away, Sandra Felgueiras left a comment about the profession.
“We have done so many cases, like those of dermatologists, namely Miguel Alpalhão, I don’t do this out of malice, I have nothing against Doctor Miguel Alpalhão, I do this because we need to, sometimes, realize that there is a big difference between hatred and doing what is right. I don’t hate anyone I investigate, I simply have to show the mistakes so that no one else repeats them, because everything that someone takes unduly and that belongs to everyone, because it is public money, is being take a little bit of us”.
Sandra Felgueiras then recalled the pain of the couple who lost their son and left a message for everyone to think more about others: “After this fatal collision, I keep reporting news about fatal accidents and I keep asking myself what is happening to people who dehumanize themselves to the point where, when something happens, they don’t stop to help. What is happening to us!? (…)”.
