The Military Police arrested again, on Tuesday night (23), a 33-year-old man accused of failing to comply with a protective measure and threatening his own sister in the municipality of Cruzeiro do Sul. The incident was recorded in the Cohab neighborhood, a few days after the suspect left the prison system.

According to the PM, the man had broken the electronic ankle bracelet he was using and was once again the target of a complaint for aggressive behavior. After discovering the violation of the judicial measure and the threats reported by the victim, the police approached and arrested the suspect at the scene.

While responding to the incident, the man informed the military that he had recently been the target of an attempted murder, allegedly carried out by members of a criminal faction. He had injuries consistent with gunshots to his left arm and chest, as well as an injury to one of his hands.

After arrest, the suspect was taken to the Cruzeiro do Sul Civil Police Station, where the case was registered and will be under investigation. The Civil Police must investigate both non-compliance with the protective measure and the circumstances of the injuries presented by the detainee.
