A frightening episode was recorded on December 18th at a gas station in the municipality of Tarauacá (AC). A motorcycle started to catch fire in the courtyard of Posto do Corcovado, drawing the attention of customers and employees who were there at the time of the incident.

The flames appeared suddenly, generating apprehension, mainly because it was an environment with a high risk of explosions. Faced with the situation, a station employee acted quickly and used a fire extinguisher to contain the fire, managing to put out the flames before the fire spread.
Quick action avoided a possible tragedy. No one was injured and there was no damage to the structure of the station, which continued to operate normally after the situation was controlled.
