New Epstein case documents include allegation of rape by Donald Trump

The victim was encouraged to report the case to the authorities, but did not do so for fear of being killed.

The new documents on the Epstein case released by the US Department of Justice include a statement, recorded by the FBI, about a woman who claimed to have been raped by Donald Trump, the current President.

Included in a new batch of thousands of documents released this Tuesday in the case of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the October 27, 2020 testimony does not identify the source of federal authorities, nor the alleged victim, as many details were omitted.

According to the report of a limousine driver in the Dallas region, who claims to have taken Trump to Fort Worth Airport (Texas) in 1995, during the trip he said “very disturbing” things, so much so that he almost took him out of the car “to attack him”.

During the phone call, Trump repeatedly mentioned the name “Jeffrey” and referred to “abusing a girl,” according to the driver.

He also reported that, when he told a woman he knew about this meeting with Trump, she stated that “Donald J. Trump had raped her together with Jeffrey Epstein”, after a girl “with a strange name” had “taken her to a hotel or luxury building”.

The person who informed the FBI said he advised the woman to “call the police to report the incident,” but she responded, “I can’t, they’re going to kill me.”

The witness stated that he did not hear from the alleged victim again until January 2000, when another person told him that the woman “was dead” and that they “found her with her head ‘smashed’ in Kiefer, Oklahoma.”

It also states that the investigators who went to the scene of death said that “there was no way it could have been suicide”, but that the coroner officially declared that that was the cause of death.

The Department of Justice launched a website last Friday to access documents from the investigation into Epstein, who committed suicide in prison in 2019, after the approval of a law in Congress that requires the Government to disclose all unclassified information in the case.

According to US authorities, at least 8,000 new documents from the investigation have been made public, including hundreds of videos and audio recordings, as well as surveillance footage from Epstein’s cell, dating back to August 2019.

The Justice Department has provided nearly 11,000 links to additional documents, although some are not accessible, saying it needs more time to release the remaining material to protect the identities of victims potentially exposed in photographs, videos and text messages.

Full disclosure was legally scheduled until December 19th.

Unlike files released last Saturday, the new ones include several mentions of Trump, who has tried to distance himself as much as possible from Epstein and his crimes, according to The Washington Post this Tuesday, which had access to documents initially released and later withdrawn.

According to documents released this Tuesday, Trump flew at least eight times on Epstein’s private plane, including a trip with just Epstein and a 20-year-old girl.

“I want you to know that the flight logs we received yesterday [segunda-feira] reflect that Donald Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously reported (or known to us),” wrote a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York in a January 2020 email, which is included in the court filings.

Trump flew on that plane at least eight times between 1993 and 1996, the prosecutor wrote, noting that this period coincides with the investigation into Epstein’s accomplice and former companion, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was on at least four of those flights with the now President.

In some cases, the prosecutor added, those who traveled on the plane could serve as witnesses in the case against Maxwell, who was sentenced in 2021 to 20 years in prison for sex trafficking of minors.

The documents also reveal that the FBI gathered several clues about the relationship between Trump and Epstein during parties held at their respective properties in the early 2000s, although they do not confirm whether there were subsequent investigations.

The United States Department of Justice on Tuesday classified the allegations against Trump contained in the newly released documents as “false and sensational.”

In a message posted on the social network X, the Department of Justice highlighted that some include accusations presented to the FBI shortly before the 2020 presidential elections.

“To be clear: these allegations are false and unfounded,” assures the Department of Justice, which reports directly to the President.
